A circular walk from Tewkesbury - 13 October 2011

David Aldred looks forward to meeting you, for a 9.30 start, in Cascades' car park (SO894328).  It's expensive to park there so find your own spot somewhere in the town. The car park near the abbey costs £4 for over four hours.

Further advice from Margaret Wise:

"As far as car parks go, Station road is £1 all day. Turn into Chance St opposite the hospital then turn right where the road turns left, continue forwards after the Salvation Army.
A lot of people park for free in Morrisons. Both are only a short walk to Cascades."

Map & Directions

Please consider the environment and share cars if possible when travelling to Tewkesbury.

Details of Walk

The walk is a five and a half mile stroll through the fields from Tewkesbury to Twyning and then back along the Avon.

For those Buffers wishing to join the walkers for lunch, we will eat at The Hop Pole (Wetherspoons) in the High Street, Tewkesbury.

Please let Graham know, by email or phone, if you will be participating in the walk or joining us for lunch.

A reply by 7pm on Monday 10 October would be appreciated so that David can notify the manager of the number to expect in our party.
